Friends' Central's Gabrielle Wilkinson ran a time of 2:08.5 to place fifth in a competitive girls' 800 meters. Victoria Tachinski of Winnipeg won the race after taking it out in a blistering 60.6 seconds. Her winning time was 2:03.72.
Central Bucks South's Valerie Przekop kept up her stellar junior season, clearing 5-8. That's just off the 5-9 she won the AAA state title with. That placed Przekop fourth in the nation. Tyrone's Erika Voyzey was seventh with a clearance of 5-6. Voyzey will continue her career at the University of Miami next season.
Pennridge freshman Kouri Peace placed 18th in the prelims of the championship 200 meters, running a time of 24.01. General McLane's Bethany Evankovich was 16th in the 400 meters, running a time of 55.63 to close out her career just off her PR.
Norristown won the "Emerging Elite" of the 4x400. The team of Charity Guy. Siani Sanders, Sheila Day and Jayana Webb clocked a 3:49.05 for the win. Webb, who had a fantastic weekend, including a wind-aided PA state record in the 200 meters, split a 53.57 to anchor the team to the win.
Kutztown's Jocelen Ruth closed out her career on a high note, winning the "Emerging Elite" section of the shot put with a throw of 45-3 to take the win. That's a PR for the Oklahoma State-bound senior.

Cumberland Valley's Mady Clahane finished off her prolific career by finishing eighth in the mile. The UNC-bound senior clocked a 4:48.77.
Athens' Breana Gambrell was 15th in the long jump with a best leap of 18-9.75.
A day after placing second in the shot put. Jordan Geist responded with a big effort in the discus. Geist PR'd with a throw of 197-11 to place third overall. Hempfield's Dom Marshall also put forth a big effort in the event, placing eighth overall with a throw of 182-2. North Pocono's Matt Slagus was 12th with a throw of 171-9.

Alex Milligan of State College took fifth in the boys' mile, running 4:12.88. Seneca Valley's Mike Kolor hung tough in a loaded boys' 800 meters. Kolor PR'd once again in the half mile, with a time of 1:51.22 to finish an impressive seventh overall in the race. Downingtown West's Jaxson Hoey was eleventh in 1:52.00, while Carlisle's Matt Wisner was 17th overall in a time of 1:53.85.
The Germantown Friends' boys took fifth in a hotly contested distance medley relay, running a time of 10:03.97. The team of Grayson Hepp (3:08.06 1200m split), Eli Schwemler (51.37 400m split), Jonnie Plass (1:55.59 800m split), and Nicholas Dahl (4:08.95 1600m split). The top five were separated by less than two seconds.
St. Joseph's Prep's Miles Green continues to show his talent. The sophomore placed sixth in the 400 hurdles in a time of 52.81. That caps off an impressive tenth grade year for Green with a big PA#1.
