Noah Affolder takes down own course record: McQuaid Invitational Recap


Hannah Perkins of Montrose won her second race this season on New York soil. Perkins, only a freshman, ran away with the win in the Unseeded Varsity AA race, running a time of 18:20, 36 seconds faster than second place. North East's Taylor Van Tassel was fifth in that race in 19:14. Watch Perkins' win above.

In the Unseeded Varsity A race, another freshman from PA ran well. Jules Jones of Cowanesque Valley placed second in a time of 18:26. Northern Potter ran well in that race, taking second in the team race. Danielle Perry (fifth in 18:55) and Amanda Ford (sixth 18:59) led the way for Northern Potter. Watch that race HERE.

The PA#7 Villa Maria team took second in the Varsity Seeded AA race, which they won last season. Grace Brown, a winner last week at Hershey, led the way for Villa, running 18:18 for seventh place. That was the fastest time by a PA girl on the day. Carlee Constable was right behind her, taking eighth in 18:21. Lexi Siefert was 16th in 18:37 in a strong day for the team. East Aurora won the race with 58 points, while Villa Maria had an even 100.
