VIRTUAL MEET

We should have a great race up front between some District 10 and District 9 stars. Connor Walsh of Cambridge Springs is running the best of his career right now and he'll look to continue that into Saturday. He's the defending champ in this race, but he'll see some good compeititon from Jonah Powell of Grove City and Ryan Thrush (above) of Brookville.

Powell most recently picked up a win at his home invite and looks to be racing really well lately. Thrush has had a breakthrough XC season after a great season on the track that saw him win a AA state title in the 400 meters. He won at this past week's Ridgway Invite and will look to keep rolling this weekend. Meadville freshman Patrick Stevens is having a terrific first season of high school XC and he'll be one to watch in this race as well.

Grove City (PA-AA#4 in our latest rankings) are the team favorites. After Jonah Powell, Jacob Powell and Brandon Pyle have proven to be strong running mates. Cranberry, Cochranton, Fairview, and General McLane will likely be their best challengers on Saturday.
