Noah Affolder has done quite a bit of traveling this fall. Now the Carlisle senior and Pennsylvania state XC champion will be headed across the pond to Scotland.
Affolder was named to Team USA for the 2017 Great Edinburgh XCountry Challenge set for January 7 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He's one of six junior athletes who will compete against international competition over 6,000 meters. Affolder joins Finn Gessner, Seth Hirsch, Conor Lundy, Kenny Vasbinder, and Sam Worley on the USA roster.
This fall, Affolder won the PIAA Class-AAA state title and then won the Foot Locker Northeast Regional in New York. He was sixth at Foot Locker Nationals.
