For the first time since its inception over two decades ago, the Pennsylvania Track & Field Coaches Association will not sponsor an all-star team of seniors in the Mid-East Regional Championships in mid-November in Ohio. According to PTFCA president Ron Lopresti, the officers made the decision because many of the state's top seniors were declining to attend for a variety of reasons (Foot Locker, Nike Team Nationals, etc.).
