Miles Green heads an open list of returners, but a Shanahan duo will look to take him down

The boys' 400 meters at the indoor state meet produced one of the best finishes of the day and luckily for those of us who love a good rematch, we have the entire outdoor season.

St. Joseph's Prep's Miles Green is the top returner from last outdoor season in the 400 meters after running 48.19 to take fourth place at the PIAA State Championships. Green is a versatile talent, who is also a terrific 300 meter hurdler (though the state schedule makes it extremely difficult to double in both). Now a junior, he's coming off a strong indoor season and will look to grab a state title, which he just missed at the indoor state meet. Still, Green clocked a 48.24 in that race.
