Knoch's Jordan Geist took down his own Pennsylvania state record and Reece Hoffa's meet record at the Bojangles Classic in Columbia, South Carolina.
Geist threw 74-10.25 on his fifth attempt at "Friday Night Thunder" at the massive meet in South Carolina, which brought together some of the nation's top throwers. That's a US#2, just an inch behind Adrian Piperi current US#1 throw, and it breaks Geist's own outdoor state record, which stood at 74-4.5 from the Ironwood Classic last year.
