Latrobe senior Natalie Bower will be joining the Penn State Nittany Lions in 2009 to run cross country and track. Bower led her team to the state title as a freshman, and owns PR's of 4:55.52 for 1600 and 10:55.22 in the 3200. She won four straight Tri-State Coaches XC Invitationals and four straight WPIAL AAA Championships. Joining her on the Nittany Lions will be Emmaus' Lindsey Graybill, who led her team to two consecutive AAA state titles, and qualified individually from the Northeast for this year's NXN Championships. Her 1600 PR is 4:55.56 and 11:10.89 for 3200. And Norwin's Leslie Kovach will compete for the University of Pennsylvania. Kovach was runner-up in AAA cross country, and owns PRs of 5:10.01 for 1600 and 10:56.75 for 3200.
