Ahmir Johnson (Wissahickon) - Long Jump

We already knew about Johnson's prowess in the triple jump; he took second in the event in AAA at outdoor states this past spring. But so far this season, Johnson's been excelling in every event but the triple jump.

He's had big PRs in the high jump (6-4) and 60-meter hurdles (8.52) and both were wins. At the first TFCAofGP meet of the season, Johnson posted a huge result in the long jump, leaping 23-4.75. That was over a foot better than his previous indoor best, a PA#1, and a current US#3.

With that kind of start to his senior season, there's no telling just how far Johnson will be jumping by the end of the season. And we haven't even seen him in the triple jump yet! Big things are coming here.
