RWB Boys' A/AA Race - Recap
Greensburg Salem put forth a great race in the A/AA race. The team went 1-2 in the overall race, led by Mark Brown up front, who finished in 16:17 for the win. Cameron Binda was second in 16:23. Dylan Binda's sixth place finish was also big as Greensburg Salem rolled to the AA team title with 35 points.
Blackhawk's Jack Aulbach posted a big PR to take third in AA in 16:23 and Daniel Ford of Quaker Valley was fourth in 16:41. Joey Bujdos led Indiana Area with a fifth place finish in 16:49, while the team took second with 75 points (minus one of its top runners).
In 1A, the top finisher was Winchester Thurston's Scott Routledge, taking fourth overall in the A/AA race. The junior went 16:30, and also led his Winchester Thurston team to the top 1A spot with 36 points. Sean Heintzleman took fourth in 1A for WT in a time of 16:56.
Freedom Area's Adam Hessler was second in 1A in 16:33, while Elk County Catholic's Ben Hoffman was third in 16:36. ECC looked strong as a team, taking second with 90 points.
