Overview: Shigo graduated from Fleetwood Area in 2014 and returns to NCAAs this season in the weight throw. Shigo was tenth a year ago in the weight, an event that his PSU teammate David Lucas won. Interestingly enough, Shigo and Lucas come into the weekend with identical season best throws at 22.47m. Shigo, like the defending champ, will be looking for big days in Birmingham.
