The Philly Public League held their Divisional meets 5/11 and 5/12. On Tuesday at Roxborough HS, Divisions B and C competed. Central dominated the Division B boys and girls meets. Jewel Daye took the 100 in 12.8 and 200 in 25.8. Evan Vance contributed two titles, the 800 in 2:29.9 and the 1600 in 5:41.7. And Phylicia Henry took care of hurdles business with a 17.8 and 50.1. For the boys, Jerome Hill went 11.1 and 22.6; Mike Syrnick 1:55.8 and 4:26.5; and Mike Wray, 14.0 and 39.8 on the hurdles. Syrnick and Wray also teamed with Melvin Goins and John Kennedy to go 3:29.5 in the 4.400. Dobbins took both the girls and boys Division C behind a double win by Lauren Deas (12.2 and 25.6), who also ran on the winning 47.0 4x100. And Larris Robinson (21.8) and Ariel Simmons (10.7) each took an event before joining Aaron Gray and Rashad Williams on the 43.0 4x100 relay. On Wednesday at Divison A and D championship at Edison HS, Gratz cleaned house in both boths and girls A competition. Angela Wells went 12.3 and 59.4, while Sabrina Shaw cleared the 100 Hurdles in 14.2 and the 300 Hurdles in 45.0. Wells also took the Long Jump at 17-9. Saqenda Dallas of Girls\' High won two, the 200 in 25.3 and the Triple Jump, leaping35-07.25. Kevin Talley took two for Grats, the 200 in 21.7 and 400 in 51.8. Overbrook won the Girls Division D meet. Engineering & Science sprinter Ebony Thomas went 12.3 and 25.7 to notch two wins. Bradley Davis took both Hurdles races in the Boys Division D meet, but Engineering & Science won with 179 points.
