AA Boys' 4x400m Relay Preview
The boys from Central Columbia made a big statement at the District 4 Championships on Saturday, throwing down a 3:21.73 to take the win. That time also puts Central atop the AA state rankings by well over two seconds. On Saturday afternoon at the end of the meet, Central will look to add a state title in the event.
Riverside, the WPIAL champs, and Southern Columbia Area, the D4 runners-up, have both run 3:24 this season. Riverside went 3:24.30, slightly faster than Southern's 3:24.74. They'll look to drop some time and give the favorites from Central a run at the end of a long meet.
Grove City Area, Bishop McDevitt, Montrose, and Motivation, and Brookville Area are among the other teams with a good shot at a high finish in the 4x4 on Saturday.
