At the 2016 Henderson Invitational, Nick Dahl of Germantown Friends outdueled Lake Lehman's Dominic Hockenbury in what was yet another great installment of the Henderson 3200.
Dahl, a junior at the time, outkicked Hockenbury in a race under the lights and amid a steady rain that continued throughout much of the meet. Dahl went 9:02.10 for the win, with Hockenbury taking a close second in 9:03.45. Dahl, who is now at Yale University, would break 9 minutes in the 3200 meters the following season.
