It was the Bethel Park show up front at the Mingo Classic on Friday. The duo of Jenna Lang and Emily Carter claimed the top two spots. Lang -- just a freshman -- captured the win in 18:42, her second invitational win of the season after winning the Bald Eagle Invite two weeks ago.
Carter -- a senior -- made her invitational season debut on Thursday taking second to her teammate in 19:07. Carter noted she's coming off an injury and is working her way back. Baldwin's Gina Bolla came across third in 19:09.

The South Fayette girls took home the team title, putting just 60 points on the board. Lauren Iagnemma led the way for South Fayette with a fourth place finish in 19:10. SF, the defending AA state champions, moved to AAA this season, but are proving they can still be a contender. Bethel Park, behind scoring just three points between its top two, was second with 97 points.
