AA Boys Pole Vault Preview
Friday will bring us a good matchup on the pole vault runway as a pair of 15-foot vaulters will duke it out with a state crown on the line. Both Camp Hill's Brody Myers and Lakeview's Isaac Lightcap have both cleared 15-0 this season.
Myers vaulted 15-0 to win the District 3 title and Lightcap jumped 15-0 to win the Mercer County crown. Lightcap went 14-0 to win the District 10 title last week. Both boys are seniors and will be looking to go out on a high note. It should be a great competition.
Scranton Prep's Jack Lynett will be a factor as well. He vaulted a huge PR of 14-2 to win the District 2 title, so he's out his name right in the conversation. He'll try to keep improving and he could battle it out with Myers and Lightcap for the win.
Riverside's Teddy McHale and Wilmington's Soloman Glavach both cleared 13-6 and will be shooting for top five places on Friday.
