Preview: The 34th Father Judge Relays

The 34th Father Judge Relays kicks off this weekend in Philly and we've got the scoop on the latest entries. 

Sprints and Hurdles

100m

Starting with the 100m dash, the biggest name to look out for is Avery Lewis (Friends' Central). She just opened her season with a state best 11.68 and a win at the Bullis Invitational. The next closest is Alasia Moley (Chester) who has ran 12.35 which is good for PA #28.

The boys' 100m dash, features three boys running sub 11. Leading the pack is Julian McFadden (Springside Chestnut Hill) with his PA #10 10.78. Julian Ward (Roman Catholic) is right behind with his entry time of 10.91. Momo Peters (Father Judge) will try to defend home turf by bettering his PA #36 of 10.97.

200m

No surprises in the girls 200m. Avery Lewis leads the way with her PA #1 time of 24.09. Amirah Nesmith (Archbishop Ryan) will come in as the next fastest entry in 24.50. JeNaisa Dearry (Chester), Payton Drumwright (Engineering & Science), Alasia Moley (Chester), and Morgan Fuller (Upper Moreland) will round out the sub 26 efforts and will all look to climb the state rankings. 

The boys top seed goes to Deion McIntosh of Roman Catholic, with his lifetime best of 21.24. Quamere Cosby (Chester) has run 21.75 which is good for PA #6. Julian Ward (Roman Catholic) has the third best time of 22.06 a PA #13. The top 100m seed, Julian McFadden, comes in with the fourth fastest entry time of 22.08.

400m

This event features three girls seated in sub 60 second efforts. JeNaisa Dearry in 56.10, Payton Drumwright (Engineering & Science) in 56.92 and her teammate Christen Moore in 58.99.

The top seed on the boys side goes to Jak Kearney (Roman Catholic) in 48.04. Quamere Cosby (Chester) is entered at 48.50 and is the PA #4 with his season's best 48.91. His teammate, Walton Garnett, is right behind him seeded at 48.60. Rhyan Regans (Engineering & Science) is entered at 48.82. Asad Reese (Imhotep Institute Charter HS) rounds out the sub 49 efforts with his PA #5 time of 48.99.

100mh

Headlining the girls 100mh, Damira Allen (Chester) has the top seed and a US #12 time of 13.69. The next best is Taleea Buxton (West Catholic) in 14.23. Olivia Smiarowska (Archbishop Ryan) has the third best seed in 15.04.

110mh

For the boys, Tony Hicks (Springside Chestnut Hill) has the top time with his PA #15 of 15.00. Not far behind is Demetrius Bell (Roman Catholic) in 15.04.

300mh

In the 300mh, Damira Allen has the top side time in 43.20 and she sits as the PA #5.

Ty Tindal (Martin Saints Classical) and Brandon Tillery (Plymouth Whitemarsh) share the fastest seed time of 42 flat.
