PHILADELPHIA - The Roman Catholic boys have relentlessly produced some of the fastest relays in the state this year. Yet again, they added to their impressive 2023 resume with a PA No. 3 All-Time mark in the 4x200m.

The team of Julian Ward, Jak Kearney, Demetrius Bell, and Marcus Allen ran an unreal 1:26.76 to win the Rising Stars Division at New Balance Nationals Outdoor.

With that time, they would have finished fourth in Championship Division, narrowly outside the Top Three.

Regardless, they moved ahead of Wissahickon, who previously held the #3 slot. The State Record is owned by Simon Gratz, which ran 1:25.93 at Nike Outdoor Nationals in 2005.

During the Indoor Season, Roman Catholic also ran the third fastest indoor 4x200m time in PA History. They managed a blistering 1:28.04 on the Indoor Oval.
