10/2-Hatboro boys and girls teams take titles, Wiss Annie Wilson win @ Salesianum in Delaware

Hatboro-Horsham\'s boys are making waves this season, and they chose to race - along with a lot of other PA teams - the tough Brandywine Creek State Park course in Delaware. Behind the 4th place finish of junior Josh Hibbs in 17:00 in the Varsity A race, their 64 points beat West Chester East by 14. Duriel Hardy, also a junior, led East in 34rd at 16:58. In the girls A race, Hatboro was dominant as well, tallying 70 points to hold off Severna Park by 37. Kerry Swayne led the Hatters with a 3rd place 20:27. Wissahickon\'s Annie Wilson took the individual title with here very strong 19:51. Haverford Township senior Julia Somers was 4th in 20:46. Wissahickon\'s boys won the Varsityy B race by 14 over Holy Ghost Prep behind the 17:23 win by junior Jordan Hill. Prep\'s Steve VanWert was 2nd, four seconds back. Defending AA state champ Dallas won the Varsity B girls race with 62 points, placing three at 4-5-6 behind a 20:43 by senior Jessica Jones. Upper Merion junior Alli Andreyko won that race in 20:21. Germantown Academy\'s boys were 2nd in the Varsity C race with 96 points behind the 3rd place finish of Stuart Udis in 17:33. And the Episcopal Academy girls were 4th in the Varsity C race with 166 points. Molly Waldron ran first for her team with a 7th place 21:58.
