With the season just under a month underway, we wanted to look at one of my favorite events, the 1600 meter, and see how much faster these girls are. Some of these girls have just been able to break the 5-minute barrier, which is an impressive mark as the top six athletes in the state have been able to do that this season so far. Out of those six, only two of those athletes are Seniors. 

With the Shippensburg 98th Roddick HS Invitational coming up this weekend, we are bound to see some fast times with some of the best talent from all across the state scheduled to attend
