The weather is officially nice in PA, and that means it is PENN RELAY WEEKEND!
With that being said, we wanted to take a look at the fastest relay teams in the Philly area who may be competing in the biggest event in the World for Track and Field this weekend.
Central Bucks East is a school above the rest, having both the 4x400 and 4x800 top spots in PA. With them heading into Penn Relays, they are looking to improve upon their spots nationally in the 4x800 meter, sitting at 18th with a time of 9:13.43. The 4x400 entered in the Suburban national relays, they are ranked first in PA and have a blazing time of 3:57.45.
Downingtown West is the top 4x100 meter relay in the Philly area, trying to take the crown for PA out of the current fastest time of JP McCaskey, holding a time of 46.57, which is 49th in the nation. Both racing in the open High School girls relay, we may get a treat and see both of them in the finals.
