Ron Walter, Baldwin, cleared 16-03 for a district record. Soph star Breehana Jacobs, Laurel Highlands, went 11.77 for a 100m record, and was 2nd in the 200 in 24.59. It took a district record of 24.46 by junior Charelise Davis of Oakland Catholic to beat her. Nothing less than a record for Mycaiah Clemons of Valley, whose 14.17 in the 100 Hurdles sets up a great race at states. Kendall Butch, the Butler junior known as a pole vaulter, set her district record of 5-08 in the High Jump. Caitlin Hewitt, Latrobe, went 12-07 for a Pole Vault record. Jordan Veney, Baldwin, is popping the discus, going 152-09. And the district record fell in the Javelin to Colin Moleton of North Allegheny at 197-06.
