With the close races and strong early performances of the first month of cross country, Pennsylvania boys teams have establishing themselves among the best in the region. As evidence, four – Coatesville, Manheim Township, West Chester East and Cardinal O\'Hara, are now 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th in the NTN Rankings released at 8am today.
Manheim Township and Coatesville began the season at #4 and #5 in the pre-season rankings. West Chester East defeated Coatesville at the 9/10 Abington Invitational, coming from behind over the final mile. A week later, Cardinal O\'Hara entered the picture with their win at the Briarwood Invitational over then #9 Ridgewood NJ. And then at the 9/24 Carlisle Invitational, Coatesville took the lead and held on to it, beating Manheim Township despite the one-two performances by Craig and Brad Miller.
