Cierra White of Engineering and Science regained the state lead in both the 100 and 200 meter dashes. She ran 11.79 in the prelim rounds in the 100 and won the 200 meter dash with a US#12 time of 23.95, the same time she ran to win the New Balance Indoor National Championship back in March.
Shali Muhammad (46.30) and Shalaya Sidney (46.45) of Paul Robeson went 1-2 in the 300 meter hurdles. The two girls also went 1-2 in the long jump with Sidney (18-1, PA#7) winning and Muhammad getting 2nd (17-10).
Ce'aira Brown of Overbrook ran 57.63 to win the 400 meter dash. Spring Gamble of Girls High won the shot put with a PA#5 mark of 41 feet even. Teammate Alisa Fornwald won the triple jump with a mark of 36-5.75.
In the team race, the Robeson girls ended the three-year run of Swenson by a score of 131 to 126.
The boys team title went to Northeast.
For the boys, Chidi Okezie of New Media Tech won three events, taking the 100 meter dash in 11.24, the 400 in 48.95 (PA#4) and the 200 meter dash in 21.92 (PA#4). Yini Donnie of Northeast was 2nd in the 400 with a PA#8 time of 49.46. Haneef Hardy of Swenson ran 1:56.53 to win the 800 meter run. Dominick Boseman of Edison threw 52-6 to win the the shot put. Emerald Walden of Plymouth Whitemarsh ran a PA#2 time of 14.05 to win the 100 meter hurdles and ran 45.58 to win the 300 meter hurdles. Sarah Holl of Upper Dublin won the 1600 (5:10.56) and 800 meter runs (2:21.03). Cheltenham became the new state leader in the 4x100 meter relay with a meet record time of 47.87. For the boys, Matt Gilmore was on fire once again! Gilmore won the 100 (10.82, PA#5), the 200 (21.75) and 400 meter dashes (48.44). Hong Cho of Wissahickon set a new meet record in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:52.91.

Alex Wheatley of Council Rock South ran 2:18.48 to win the 800 meter run. Teammate Kathleen Steward ran 5:08.40 to win the 1600 meter run. Leah Nugent of Abington ran a PA#3 time of 14.09 to win the 100 meter hurdles and 43.25 to win the 300 meter hurdles. Abington ran 4:00.97 to win the 4x400 meter relay. For the boys, Paulus Gipla of Truman ran 10.94 to win the 100 meter dash. Josh Mindlin of Council Rock North ran a PA#4 time of 21.89 to win the 200 meter dash. Teammate Chris Campbell ran a PA#6 time of 4:15.93 to win the 1600 meter run and ran 9:32.82 to win the 3200 meter run. Teammate Jeff Krystek ran 14.78 to win 110 meter hurdles. Council Rock North ran 42.65 to win the 4x100 meter relay. Abington won the 4x400 (3:21.05) and 4x800 meter relays (7:54.14). Jay Jabat of Pennsbury cleared 6-4 to win the high jump and jumped 22-1.50 to win the long jump. Mike Spadaro of Council Rock South jumped 45-10 to win the triple jump.

Katie Rodden of Arch. Carroll won the mile (5:06.73) and 3200 meter runs (11:08.83). Teammate Rachel Flynn ran 2:18.22 to win the 800 meter run. Anna McCloskey of Cardinal O'Hara won the shot put (38-4.50) and the discus (120-5.50). Logan Brenker of Conwell Egan jumped 17-8.50 to win the long jump.
For the boys, Todd Townsend of West Catholic ran 39.12 to win the 300 meter hurdles. Tom Trainer of Lasalle won the mile (4:19.91) and 3200 meter runs (9:30.00).
Tyler Gallen (48.62, already PA#2 w/48.33) and Brian Hamilton (48.63, PA#3), both of Cardinal O'Hara, went 1-2 in the 400 meter dash. They were also on their 3:20.76 winning 4x400 meter relay.
Craig Gonzaga of Archbishop Ryan ran 1:55.98 to win the 800 meter run.
Chazz Wilks of Cardinal O'Hara won the shot put (52-5.25) and the discus (168-6). Sean McPeak of Father Judge threw 176-1.50 to win the javelin.
