After having his indoor season cut short with illness, East Pennsboro senior Ryan Blood has apparently gotten his health and his training back to an excellent early season form. He easily won both the 1600 4:26.06 (splits of 2:17, with a .62 3rd lap) and the 3200 in 9:32.23. Cumberland Valley's boys' 4x800 led off the meet with a strong 8:03.94 (David Little 2:01, Scott Zimmerman 2:04, John Fulginiti 1:59, Brian Fuller 1:57), just holding off Central Dauphin, who was 2nd in 8:04.99. Reading's Matt Baileydominated the hurdles, taking the 110 in 15.23 and the 300 in 40.76. Jumps specialist Pete Habegger, Cedar Crest, went 21-08.25 in the Long Jump and 41-03.75 to capture the Triple Jump. And RyanWhiting, the Central Dauphin soph, won the Shot Put (55-07.25) and Discus (164-06). Nicole Erbybegan what will be a busy week of dual meets with a three-win performance, first taking the 1600 in 5:26.04, winning the 800 in 2:29.05 and anchoring the Cumberland Valley 4x800 to a 9:56.59 win. Sotanya Imadoiemu, a Central Dauphin junior, took both the Long Jump (16-03.00) and Triple Jump (33-09.00). Cedar Crest sophomore Becky Eisenhaur, captured the Shot Put with a throw of 37-02.00 and Discuus with a toss of 102-00. And Reading sophomore Jessica Forrest posted a 12.29 and 25.35 double.
