Butler Invitational - Boys - 56th Annual 2021

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR 2021:

We will follow all CDC and PA guidelines - important notes below:

Please do Covid-19 screenings prior to arriving at the stadium.Any athlete or coach at a temperature of 99.5 or over should stay home.

Social Distancing should be maintained at all times

Per PIAA guidelines, all coaches and athletes must wear a mask.Athletes may remove while competing.

We will have hand sanitizer available at the finish line, clerking tables as well as all field event sites.We encourage use by your athletes and coaches

No athlete should be on the infield unless they are actively warming up or competing.

Athletes should leave the infield immediately after finishing their event.

Please keep the finish line area clear

Coaches are permitted on the infield at any time.

Tents may be setup inside & outside of the stadium fence or in the visitors side bleachers. Teams are

encouraged to spread out.

We will allow spectators inside the stadium - masks to be worn at all times.

There will be no concession stand.We encourage all teams and athletes to pack water and food for the meet.

vEntry Deadline: Wednesday April 21, 2021 at Noon - online entry thru Penn Track XC @http://pa.milesplit.com

vMeet Registration:Once the meet is closed-additional entries will not be accepted. There will be "no day of the meet" additions.Scratches will be done at the coaches'meeting and at the finish line tent.

vRegistration/Check In begins at :10:30 AM Coaches' Meeting:11:15 AM

vField events start:12:15 PM Runningevents start:12:15 PM.

We will use a rolling time schedule - listen to the calls for your events.

vFacilities:Butler Area School District (Art Bernardi Stadium); all-weather track, turf infield, 2 jumping runways, 2 pole vault pits, 1 high jump pit, Javelin is grass surface

vEntries:There will be a limit of two (2) individuals from a single school per track & field event. You may enter a third participant if, and only if, all entrants from your school in that event have hit the standard published below.If not - we will scratch them.

vRelays:One (1) relay per event per school

vIndividual Awards:Top 8 finishers will receive Butler Invitational Olympic style custom medals.

vOfficiating:Each team is asked to provide Coaches to assist in field events.

vEntry Fee: $140 per school team or $280 if both Boys & Girls Teams or $30 per Individual.

Meet Entry Standards for a school to enter three (3) in an event.

You may enter a third participant if, and only if, all entrants from your school

in that event have met the standard below. If not - we will scratch them. Be sure to add .24 for hand times!

Note: For the 100/110 Meter High Hurdles and 100 Meter Dash - will take 12 to the finals & will have a two heat

seeded final. 200 Meter Dash will be seeded and run as a final.
