GIRLS RESULTS

Lexi Walsh said she wanted to PR a lot this season. The Holy Cross junior, who was eighth in the state in Single-A last year got her season off to the right start with a PR at Northampton. Walsh clocked a 18:33, running away from the field right from the gun. It was just the kind of start she was looking for.

Central Bucks East took the next two places with junior Abbey Iafolla placing second in 19:01 and first-year XC runner Cameron Cameron Billingsley taking third.

It wasn't enough in the team race, however, as the Patriots were beat out by Easton Area. Easton scored 56 points to East's 58 for the win. Easton sophomore Skylar Danley stepped up in a big way to take fourth in 19:11 to pace the Rovers. Senior Alyssa Repsher was eighth and sophomore Lauren Maddison was tenth for Easton.

BOYS RESULTS

Central Bucks East looks even better than they were in 2015 on Saturday. East, which qualified for states out of District 1 last year, put together a huge team performance, scoring just 39 points to open up their invite season in a big way.

David Endres was the star of the day. He ran 15:49 for the win pulling away around the two mile to take the win. His East teammates performed well behind him. William Schulz was fifth and Sean Lahetta, Cade Sands and Owen Zila were 11th, 12th, and 13th respectively.

Penncrest's Avery Lederer ran well to take second in 16:02. Quakertown Hudson Delisle was third and Pennridge's Matt Eissler placed fourth. Easton, led by senior Stephen Kraus took second in the team competition, placing eighth in a big PR. Lederer spoke with us afterwards.
