Rebel Invitational
There is a new star in Pennsylvania. In Maryland this weekend, Greencastle Antrim freshman Taryn Parks won her second straight invitational of her young career. Park, who was first across at Chamersburg's Enos Yeager Invite, clocked a 19:03 to win the Rebel Invitational in Hagerstown, Maryland. She was 16 seconds ahead of teammate Lauren Hirneisen, who took second in 19:29.
In the boys' race, Greencastle Antrim took second as a team, led by Andrew Johnson, who was tenth in a time of 18:00.
