Harbor Creek Invitational - Meet Preview
GIRLS' PREVIEW
Reigning AA 300 hurdles state champion, Heather Grober returns to the track this weekend. She's entered in the 100 meter dash and her specialty, the 300 hurdles. look for some fast times from her. Villa Maria's Style Henry will look to challenge her in the 100 meters. Henry will come back in the 200 meters, where Bradford's Ashton McGriff is the top seed. Brooke McGriff is favored in the 100 meter hurdles, after winning last week at South Hills.
Villa Maria will look to rack up some hardware in the distance events. Carlee Constable is the top seed in the 1600 meters and 3200 meters, while Lexi Siefert is the top seed in the 800 meters. Franklin Area's Savanna Carr will be one to watch in the 1600 meters and 3200 meters as well.
Hickory's Tori McKinley opened up last weekend at South Hills and she'll look for more this weekend. McKinley will be a strong favorite in both the discus and the shot put. Her teammate Michaela Burkhauser is also in the field and should be one to watch.
McDowell's Rebecca Olanrewaju and Fort Leboeuf's Kaylee Young are the ones to watch in both the long and triple jumps.

BOYS' PREVIEW
After a tremendous effort to open its season, the Seneca boys are entered in the 4x800 meter relay once again. The quartet went 7:58 at South Hills last weekend and they are looking to lower that this weekend in Harborcreek. After that, Seneca's Donovan Myers is the top seed in the 800 meters, where he'll race Cathedral Prep's Derek Jones and his teammate Jake Schneider. Seneca's Phoenix Myers, who went 4:18 in the 1600 indoors, will contest that event this weekend, going up against Mercyhurst Prep's Noah Curtin. We
Hickory looked strong at South Hills last weekend, too, and they'll return to District 10 country this weekend. Dozie Ezi-Ashi is the top seed in the 100 meters, and he'll return for the 200 meters, where his teammate William Gruber is the top seed. Gruber is also the top seed in the 400 meters.
We should see a good matchup in the 300 meter hurdles, as Titusville's Brady Corklin and Hickory's Parker Redmond will face off. Hickory's Caleb Gagliardi and McDowell's George Barnes are the first and second seeds in the 110 meter hurdles.
The throws figure to be exciting, even despite the fact that Hickory standout Evan Blaire will be competing at the Bojangles Classic in South Carolina. Cameron and Nolan Landis will look for big heaves in the discus, along with Hickory's Tyler Bishop. All three are also in the shot put, so expect some good competition to propel them to big marks.
