Paul Short Run - HS White Race Recap
Central Dauphin East's Makenna Krebs sat back about 20 meters off the leader Sophia Divone of Mercersburg Academy as the pair approach the two mile. But Krebs made a decisive move after that point and closed hard to win the White Race in 18:41.
It was a convincing win for Krebs, who also ran a big PR. She says she's ready to matchup with the talented girls within District 3, and Friday was a good barometer for her.
Divone ran well to take second with a time of 18:55, her first time under 19 minutes in her career.
Cornwall (NY) took the next two spots with Meredith Hickman and Sydney Decker. That helped the New York squad take the convincing win in the race with just 53 points. Exeter was second while Lower Merion placed third.
