DVGTCA Meet #6 - Meet Preview

The DVGTCA girls are back at Lehigh on Friday for what should be another strong meet. What should you be watching for?
In the 60 meters, we'll see a good showdown between Central's Lauryn James (PA#6) and Cheltenham's Ni Asia Williams (PA#9), as both girls will look to climb the state rankings. The 200 meters will be a good race, as well. Cheltenham's Alexis Crosby is the one to beat, making her open 200 season debut, but Springside Chestnut Hill's Sabria Epps will be looking to take her down.
Also from SCH, Alexandria Kitchell (PA#5 400m) will move up to the 600 meters, looking for a quick time. In the 800 meters, Penncrest's Tara Higgins is the top seed is what should be a mostly wide open race. Look out for Strath Haven's Grace Forbes in the 1,000 meters. She's part of her team's state leading 4x800 meter relay team and is PA#5 in the mile.
In the 60 meter hurdles, Exeter's Symone Foster, currently PA#2, will look to hold off Cheltenham's Brianna Smith, who should give her a good challenge. Smith enters the weekend at PA#7.
Blair Knuckle of Bishop McDevitt moved up to PA#5 in the high jump last Friday and she's back for more this week. She'll be the favorite to take the win at Lehigh.
