Monday – February 11, 2008
Training: a whopping 15 minutes…yay
Supplements: abs, foot exercises, stretching
Details: My first day back after 8 weeks off….OUCH. I ran 15 minutes, because my doctor told me I have to build up slowly to make sure that the foot REALLY healed. I felt like such a WUSS. I came home a bit sore after 15 minutes…THIS IS GONNA' BE A LOOOONG WAY BACK! BUT, I am willing to be patient and work on this…But, it's still gonna' be a long way!

Tuesday – February 12, 2008
Training: 15 minutes
Supplements: abs, stretching
Details: I feel my foot a LITTLE bit, but my one pro-runner friend told me that I may feel it, but it just can't hurt or I'll have to go back to the docs… So, my second day at 15 minutes, *pant* *pant*!!! hahaha.

Wednesday – February 13, 2008
Training: 20 minutes
Supplements: abs, foot exercises, stretching
Details: Oh yeah, I realize that I'm leaving the whole mileage deal out…well, having to write in 21 miles in one week is a bit depressing, so I figured I would leave that out until the number isn't as depressing…But hey, my one friend had to get surgery and may not be able to run for about 3-5 months, so I guess I should stop whining!

Thursday – February 14, 2008
Training: 25 minutes (oh, watch out, getting' up there)
Supplements: lots of stretching!
Details: Patience is KEY.

Friday – February 15, 2008
Training: 25 minutes
Supplements: abs again, core strength, stretching
Details: Still feel the foot, but the doc gave me some patches to put on my foot for the inflammation…


Saturday – February 16, 2008

Training: 30 minutes
Supplements: lots of stretching again
Details: My orthotics are really helping me A LOT…I only realized this after running 30 minutes without them (I had forgotten them) and then coming home with PAIN in my foot… So yeah, lesson: don't run without orthotics!!!! or pay….


Sunday – February 17, 2008
Training: 30 minutes
Supplements: abs, stretching
Details: Ah, one week of training done…It feels good to be back in a routine again! I NEED to run, not just because I love it, but because it really organizes my whole day…After 11 years of running with no injuries (obviously until now), I really got used to the whole routine thing. I always say that my life isn't JUST running, but I really organize myself around it! School starts up again this week… A full masters load yet again….and then some!!!! I am working (the bills gotta' be paid somehow), running, studying, working some more… But trying to really focus on the details, on the basics of running!
