It's been a little while since we've seen Madeleine Davison. The Syracuse-bound senior ran her first race of the season since her 28th place finish at Foot Locker Cross Country Nationals in San Diego. Davison won Foot Locker Northeast at Van Cortlandt Park to qualify her. On Saturday in Edinboro, Davison made her season debut, doubling in the mile and the 800 meters. Davison, who won the indoor 3000 meters at states for North Allegheny last winter is competing unattached this year.
She took home first in the mile and came back to finish second in the 800 to Mt. Lebanon's Claire Dougherty. Afterwards, she talked to PTXC's Phil Grove about her two races and plans for the rest of the season. Watch that interview above. Meanwhile, below, watch both her mile and 800 meters races from the TSTCA meet.
