
State record holder Chanel Brissett has graduated, but still a good amount of talent in the hurdles is back this spring.
Leading the group of returners is Madison Langley-Walker of Upper Dublin. Now a senior, she was third at states last season in the 100-meter hurdles (and also won the intermediate hurdles). She's the lone girl back this year that went sub-14 seconds last year (her best was 13.98 from the state final). But likely to give her a good run is Christina Warren of Perkiomen Valley. Warren went 8.48 in the 60-meter hurdles indoors and won the state title. She'll look to add another state crown outdoors; she was fourth in the 100-meter hurdles at outdoor states last year in AAA.
Another girl to watch this spring is Jane Livingston of Conestoga Valley. She took a big leap forward this winter and took second to Warren at indoor states in the high hurdles.
