Big Performances All Weekend: Week 2 Recap

TFCAofGP Meet #1 - Meet Recap

The high jump in Division I saw the state's best two jumps on the young season. Perkiomen Valley's Cole Peterlin cleared 6-08, a PA#1, to take the win. That's also a PR for the senior. Hatboro-Horsham's Kasey Savage also PR'd. The sophomore jumped 6-06 for second place and a new PA#2.

Harry S. Truman may have found its newest sprint star. After the graduation of Sayyid Saunders, the outdoor 100 and 200 meter AAA state champ from a year ago, the Tigers' James Koliyah became PA's first boy under 7 seconds in the 60 meter dash. Koliyah, a senior, went 6.97, for the 60 win.

Bensalem's Ritish Sharma took the win in the 200 meters, running a time of 22.98, a PA#2. His teammate Dabi Chanez went 2:02.94 to win the 800 meters, a PA#1. Upper Dublin's Jaden Price-Whitehead jumped a PA#1 of 44-04.75 to win the triple jump.

Pennridge shot to the top of the state rankings in a pair of relays. The Rams went 3:31 to win the 4x400m and then went 10:57 to win the DMR, a nice start to the season for the always-deep squad.
