State Rankings Shake Up: Week 5 Recap

Youngstown State Open/HS Meet #1 - Meet Recap

The boys shot put brought some big throws to the forefront. Wilmington's Connor Vass-Gal took over the state lead in the event with a big throw of 58-4.5, a throw that is 6 feet better than his outdoor best from last spring. Vass-Gal took second overall. Hickory's Brock Grundy was third with a PA#3 toss of 58-1.5.

With four boys separated by less than a foot, the shot put on the boys' side is shaping up to be one of the most competitive in PA.
