The Skinny: Pennridge and State College closed out early January's Kevin Dare Invitational with a battle in the 4x400 with Pennridge taking the win in a PA#1 time of 3:22.35 and State College taking second in a PA#2 3:23.96. Since that race (and prior to it) no other Pennsylvania team has come close to these top two times. The PA#3 time is over 3 seconds behind State College's time.
Looking Ahead: There is certainly plenty of time for some other squads to get in the mix, but Pennridge and State College look to be the favorites for now in PA. Pennridge sits at US#6 and State College is at US#10. A rematch on the same track at Penn State is on the horizon.
