Chanel Brissett (Cheltenham; University of Southern California)

Overview: Brissett, a USC sophomore, is the top seed and favorite in the women's high hurdles. The Pennsylvania state record holder in the event from high school has quickly emerged as one of the top collegiate runners in the event.
She ran 7.90 at the Tyson Invitational earlier this season, a time that ranks her No. 5 in the world currently. This weekend, she'll look to win her first NCAA national title. Three others in the field have run sub-8 seconds in the 60mH this season. Janeek Brown of Arkansas and Tiara McMinn of Miami have both run 7.95 so far.
