Bouie went 48.23 to win the PCL and then captured the District 12 crown in 49.01 going away. Sanders, meanwhile, dropped a strong PR of 48.59 to win the District 1 title, also in runaway fashion. He was fourth in the state final last year. So two of Philly's top quarter milers are the favorites in the AA 400 meters. This will be a good final.
Three others in the field have run sub-50 this season and will look to challenge the top two. Karns City's Hunter Jones ran a nice PR of 49.71 to take the District 9 win. Zander Bradley of Central Columbia also ran a PR at his district meet, going 49.73 for the District 4 title. Grove City Area's Nick Murawski went 49.92 earlier this season and he took home the District 10 title this past week in 50.10.
