Loudoun Valley, Parks Among Big Names: PTXC 11 Preview

PTXC 11 Boys' Blue Race - Race Preview

  • Race Time: 10:20 A.M.
  • Virtual Meet
  • 2018 Individual Winner: Noah Peterson (Loudoun Valley) - 16:50
  • 2018 Team Winner: Loudoun Valley - 17 points

The Loudoun Valley boys were dominant at PTXC 10 last year. Its 'B' squad took the top four spots in the Blue Race and put just 17 points on the board to win both varsity races on the day. Surely, the reigning national champions will have plenty of up-and-coming boys in its next 8 that will make some noise, and mix it up near the front for the win in the B race. Whoever the 9-10-11 runners are this year for LV, expect them to go after the win.

Milton Area's Tanner Walter was eighth last year in the race. He returns looking to possibly move up into the top five. Evan Kase of Boiling Springs was ninth last year rounding out the top ten returners from 2018. Conrad Weiser's Alfonso Knoll ran well in his season debut at Northampton last week, placing 11th in 16:31. He should be up there.

Central Bucks East's Jack McManus and Andrew Conte, Central Bucks West's Luke Cimakasky, and Hampshire's Chris Lucas will also look to get in the mix near the front on Saturday.
