Penncrest Invitational - Meet Recap

Jalen Chin of Penncrest scored the win at his home invite. The senior went 16:28 for the victory, the first invite win of his career, continuing his very strong season. Twin Valley took the next two spots with Griffin Schlegel (second in 16:48) and Nick Manidis (third in 16:49).

Penncrest claimed the team title in a tiebreaker over Twin Valley. Both squads scored 32, but Penncrest got the sixth runner advantage. The champion Lions were without usual top runner Patrick Theveny. Upper Perkiomen, led by Donald Miller's fourth place finish, took third with 94 points.

Lower Merion's Sarah Hurst won the girls' race in 19:19, running away with the victory by over a minute. It's the first career invitational win for the junior Hurst. Penncrest's Hannah Puckett was second in 20:43. Neshaminy, led by Jordan O'Neill's third place finish, took the team win with 45 points ahead of second place hosts Penncrest (60 points).
