Byers, Christie & Savage At 6-6: Top 120 Boys High Jump Returners

It should be another close year in the high jump on the boys' side. A number of talented boys are back, making for what should be an interesting winter in the event.

Kolt Byers of Bermudian Springs returns this season, looking to win his second indoor state title in three years. He won in 2018 and took second on a jump-off with Cole Peterlin last year. Now he'll look to take back that top spot. He also added his first career outdoor state title, winning AA this past spring. His best was 6-6 last winter.

Two others jumped 6-6 last indoor season: LaSalle College's Tommy Christie and Hatboro Horsham's Kasey Savage. Christie took fifth at states last year, jumping his best of 6-6 at the right time. Now the junior, who jumped 6-7 outdoors, will look to contend for the top spot. Savage, also a junior, was sixth at states last year. He, too, will be in the mix for the state's top spot.
