AAA GIRLS 1st 6 teams plus the next 30 non-top 6 place team finishers qualify for STATES
TEAMS
SOME HISTORY--- (of the teams who have the best shot in 2021)---DOWNINGTOWN WEST was 2nd in 2016 and won in 2019-- STRATH HAVEN(5th 2015 and 2016) AVON GROVE made STATES in 2018. PERKIOMEN VALLEY-(1st in 2016 and 3rd in 2015). OWEN J ROBERTS-(6th 2019. 2nd 2017. 6th 2016. 4th 2015).-CENTRAL BUCKS EAST(made STATES 2018, 2014, and 2013)-CONESTOGA(4th in 2014)-COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH(just missed in 2017)-HAVERFORD, MOUNT ST JOSEPH, PENNRIDGE, and PHOENIXVILLE have not made STATES as a District 1 AAA team for at least 10 years!!!
There are actually 12 teams with a legitimate chance to go to Hershey to ?eat chocolate and run the challenging State course. (Only 6 will survive!!). As always it is VERY!!! TOUGH!! making it to STATES from District 1.(However it does appear that the rest of the STATE has more than caught up!!)

2020 was a weird Districts due to Covid where only 1 team and 5 individuals made STATES. This year we will have 6 teams and 30 individuals take a trip to Hershey!

Just to clear up the confusion for the 30 individual qualifiers, I am going to say that 6 teams' individuals will be removed. That's 20 girls 20+ 30 = 50th place likely to make STATES???
