Czajkowski and Kluge named Athletes of the Week (9/19-9/26)

Annie Czajkowski and Nathan Kluge were named last week's PA MileSplit Athletes of the Week (9/19 - 9/26) following their standout performances.

NOMINATIONS

Annie Czajkowski was voted last week's female athlete of the week after she ran an 18:10 to win the Blue Devil Invitational on 9/23. Her win was instrumental in her team's performances.

Norwin scored the 30-point victory and was elevated to No. 3 in the State Rankings.

Her time was a 46-second personal best and fastest of the course since 2008. As a result, she is currently ranked No. 8 in the state.

Czajkowksi is the second ranked sophomore in the state based on season best 5K.

Conestoga's Nathan Kluge earned the honors after a stellar performance at the Six Flags Invitational in New Jersey on September 23rd.

Kluge finished third overall in the meet's top division and helped Conestoga finish second overall. He ran 16:24 on the muddied course, the sixth fastest time of the entire day. He was the top Pennsylvanian in the field.

Kluge has been crucial in Conestoga's early season success. The team is currently ranked 14th in the state.
