The Week's Boys Candidates:

(Listed in Random Order)

Drew Griffith (Butler) - Griffith ran the fastest time in Pennsylvania history, the second-fastest time on Virginia soil ever, and the 16th best performance in high school history as he ran 14:21.00 over 5000m to win the MileStat Invitational. There is no other way to say it, but Griffith made High School Cross Country History.

Cole Casadei (La Salle College HS) - Finished fourth in a loaded Eastern States Championship field at the Manhattan College XC Invite presented by HOKA. Casadei navigated the difficult 2.5 mile course in 12:28.30, which is believed to be the sixth fastest time by a Pennsylvanian on the course, All-Time. He led La Salle to a second place finish.

Ryan Pajak (Ringgold) - Ryan Pajak ran the third fastest time in Pennsylvania history at the Mingo Classic on Oct. 12th. He ran a ridiculous 14:40.51 to break the course record and set the new PA #3 All-Time mark. He is the only runner to have ever run faster than 15:10 on the course.
