253. That's the number of girls who have shaved a minute or more off of their 2022 5K times this season. 71 have shaved over two minutes. As a whole, the girls on the top of this list mostly represent under-appreciated student-athletes who have made a giant leap forward and have likely become contributors on their respective teams.
We compiled a list of all returners from 2022 and sorted the Top-600 based on Total Time Improved. This data could also be formatted as a percentage of time "dropped" but for the sake of simplicity and viewing pleasure - it is sorted as a difference of time.
Penn Wood's Kelisa Beckett heads the list with her unbelievable 7:44 shaved time. Beckett has done an incredible job of becoming a contributor for her team and was most recently Penn Wood's top girl at the DELCO Championship. She finished 55th at the meet.
