Darrell Hill of Penn Wood was a big winner for the 2nd time in a three day period with a winning throw of 55-4. Terrence
Edwards (49-06.50) and Leonard Collazo (47-7) of Norristown closed out the top three. Caitlin Yakas of Sun Valley won the
girls shot put with a throw of 35-04, good for #2 in the state on the young season.

The Hill School
Dan Segall of Friends Central was the lone individual double winner on the night, winning the one mile run in 4:39.61 and the 3000 meter run in 9:46.32. Joseph O'Such of Spring Ford ran 51.84 to win the 400 meter dash, Mishon Coppick of Pottstown cleared 6 feet even to win the high jump, and Robert Paciocco of Glen Mills threw 48-03.25 to win the shot put.
For the girls, Gabby Becattini of Methacton won the long jump with a mark of 17-02, Natalie Bates of Springside won the 800 meter run in 2:22.69, and Lydia Ali of Radnor won the 200 meter dash in 26.42. She also led her 4x400 meter relay to victory with a time of 4:16.84

Penn Charter senior Elyse WIlkenson took 2nd in the High School 800, going a PA#1, US#3 2:18.1. West Catholic's Braxton Spriggs tied for 6th in the 200 on 27.5h and tied for 11th in the 400 in 1:03.6h.

DVGTCA Indoor Meet #2
North Penn (12:28.6) and Strath Haven (12:29.0) put up US #1 and #2 respectively in the distance medley relay, leading five teams under 13 minutes. West Catholic ran 1:49.9 to win the 4x200 meter relay, Jody-Ann Evans of Quakertown ran 7.6 to win the 60 meter dash, and her sister Alicia Evans ran 26.3 to win the 200 meter dash. Tori Gerlach of Pennridge (5:14.0) edged out Lindsay Rheiner of Council Rock North (5:14.6) to win the one mile run, Anna McCloskey of Cardinal O'Hara threw 40-04.50 to win the shot put, and Logan Brenker of Conwell Egan won the long jump with a mark of 17-3.

Franklin & Marshall HS Invitational #1
Kyle Long of Hempfield won the shot put with a PA#2 mark of 56-08.25 to highlight the boys action. Jared Posey of William Penn won the triple jump with a mark of 45-10.75, Jake Shepherd of Lewistown cleared 6-2 to win the high jump, and Ben Steele of Central Dauphin won the pole vault with a clearance of 14-1. The highlight on the track was J.P. McCaskey going 1-2-3 in the 55 meter dash, led by a 6.88 winning performance from Kevin Cunningham.
For the girls, Kathleen McPhillips of Carlisle won the pole vault with her winning mark of 11 feet even and she won the long jump with a mark of 16-11.25. On the track, Avon Grove placed 1-2 in the 4x200 meter realy, with their top squad winning with a time of 1:52.65.

TFCAofGP Meet #2
Division 1 action was highlighted by two strong relay performances. Cheltenham became the first state qualifying team in the 4x200 meter relay with their winning performance of 1:33.28, and Central Bucks West won the 4x800 meter relay with a solid performance of 8:16.29. Individually, Brett Kelly of Boyertown ran 4:30.57 to win the mile by 12 seconds, Donnie Yini of Northeast High ran 22.90 to win the 200, good enough for the state lead, and Jean-Luc Twyman of Coatesville jumped 43-10 to win the triple jump.
In Division 2, Wissahickon became the first distance medley relay team to break 11 minutes this season with their winning time of 10:52.74, Scott Rushton of Episcopal Academy threw 53-02.25 to win the shot put, and Eddie Burgess of Great Valley ran 7.13 to win the 60 meter dash. Scott Catalano (7.19) and Tariq Lovelace of Delaware Valley (7.20) ran PA top five times.

Methacton girls ran two impressive sprint relays, running state leading times in both the 4x200 (1:47.83) and the 4x400 meter relays (4:08.00). Easton Area (1:49.26) and Norristown (1:49.56) both ran strong 4x200 meter relay times to crack the state top five. Gabby Bereratin of Methacton jumped close to her state leading mark in the triple jump (36-08) and added a 17-03.75 long jump and a 9.03 55 meter hurdles to her weekend. Teammate Seline Tan-Torres ran a PA#2 time in the 1000 meter run with her time of 3:12.50.
For the boys, Penn Wood (1:34.85) and Methacton (1:35.75) ran PA#2 and #3 times respectively in the 4x200 meter relay. Penn Wood also added a PA#3 time of 3:34.89 in the 4x400 meter relay. Holy Ghost Prep ran a PA#3 time of 8:21.09 in the 4x800 meter relay. Darrell Hill of Penn Wood (56-01) and Terrence Edwards of Norristown (53-04.50) both cracked the 50 foot mark in the shot put, Christian Lupica of Holy Ghost Prep ran a state leading time of 7.83 in the 55 meter hurdles, and Bernard England of Easton Area ran a PA#4 time of 4:35.27 in the one mile run.

Dickinson College
Morgan Sheaffer of West Perry ran a PA#2 time of 59.35 to win the 400 meter dash and a PA#1 time of 5:18.53 to earn 2nd in the 1600 meter run. Jessica Whitmore of Chambersburg ran a PA#2 time of 7.30 to win the 55 meter dash, and Kathleen McPhillips of Carlisle won the long jump (17-01.50) and the pole vault (11 feet even).
For the boys, T.J. Elliot of Central Dauphin East ran a state leading time in the 55 meter dash with his winning time of 6.51, Mike McClelland of Trinity (7) took over the state lead in the high jump with his winning mark of 6-5, Ben Steele of Central Dauphin East cleared 14-4 in the pole vault to become the new state leader, with Donny Scatena of Central Columbia finishing 2nd with a clearance of 14 feet even. The shot put had five guys clear 50 feet, with Cory Johnson winning the event with a mark of 52-06. All five performances cracked the PA top ten.
