DELCO Girls Indoor Championships
The Delaware County Girls' Indoor Championships is an annual mid-season test sandwiched between association meets and the start of the big indoor season. But they don't hold back. Penn Wood put on a show in the 4x200, running a 1:47.6 to beat Chester by exactly a second. But the Chester 4x400 squad took care of the baton and was timed in 4:09.7 to defeat Cardinal O'Hara by almost five seconds. In the 55 Hurdles, Daniella Price ran back-to-back 8.5's from Prelims to Finals, to get a county championship over Bahiyah Mohammad of Chester, who also was timed in 8.5 in the Prelims. Penn Wood's Chioma Nsaneshuidu took the 55 Dash comfortably, running 7-flat in the Finals.
