TSTCA Indoor Meet #4
The 4th TSTCA meet of the season produced a US #8 and PA best in the 800, and a T US #9 and PA best in the Pole Vault. Shaler's Sam Bair became the first PA athlete under 2:00 this season, going 1:57.8. And Hickory's Andy Rademacker vaulted 15-0, the first over 14-6. Other elite performances included Greensburg-Salem's Akeem Vance nipping Central Catholic's Andrew Johnson in the 55 Meter Dash, both timed in 6.3; and Vance's Long Jump of 22-01.50. Bethal Park's Kim Duschek vaulted 11-0 to tie for PA #1. North Allgeheny's Kim Markel won the 55 Hurdles in 8.5. And the 1600 duel was as close at it can get, as West Allegheny's Christine Taranto took North Allgeheny's Stephanie Madia by .1 in 5:17.1.
