2/5 - Four new fieldhouse records set at Glen Mills Invite #2

Glen Mills Boys Invitational #2

Four new Fieldhouse records, including demonstratons of the 800 depth of North Penn, and the Shot Put depth of the region. On the surface, North Penn's 8:09.92 is a nice 4x800. But it's even stronger when you note that three of its members, Dan Michael (2:01.06), Steve Craig (2:03.10) and Brad Maier (2:04.10) all ran in the open 800, as well. In the 200, Barry Jones of host Glen Mills, set on of the fieldhouse records with a 22.52. Coatesville's Rob Robertson won the 1600 in a record 4:28.94. In the 3200, Upper Dublin's Matt Lawson set a fieldhouse mark with his winning 9:48.39. And the Glen Mills 4x400 set a new mark with their winning 3:24.80. North Penn was second in 3:28.14. In the Shot Put, Delaware's Carlton Rose (William Penn), won with a throw of 57-2. Conestoga's Steve Myers was second (55-9), and Glen Mill's Omain Gullette was 3rd (55-8).
